Our new Horta and Carmel Tour is the perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon in Catalan capital. The specially designed route will take you from the city centre to Horta and then the ‘amazing’ Labyrinth Park, overlooking Barcelona.
You have plenty of time to complete the route, pause to enjoy some of the views along the way and at the same time avoid the stress of bus queues and large tour groups.
We recommend you follow our route, but you can go anywhere you wish within the city limits, total flexibility and control of your time.

Your Horta and Carmel tour follows our newest route and is a great way to seeing something different in this fantastic city.
The first part of the tour ticks the ‘classic Barcelona’ box of Gaudi’s spectacular Sagrada Familia and then on to the Hospital de Sant Pau. From here you climb, on the way to old Horta and a road of amazing houses. Next it is time to stop at the Labyrinth Park and Velodrome. You will have about 1 hour here and parking is free!
Right beside the Labyrinth Park is the Olympic Velodrome. There is a cute little Chiringuito too, perfect for a mid-tour snack! Dont miss near the entrance, the striking Palau del Marquès d’Alfarràs, a building with neo-arabic and neo-gothic elements.
Next is Carmel, originally a shanty town, but now a bustling barrio behind the famous ‘bunkers‘.
You finish your Horta and Carmel tour, via groovy Gràcia and the world fabulous Passeig de Gràcia, then it is just a short hop back to the GoCar Barcelona base on Passeig de Pujades.
